Ideas for the Review Project
This is a random list of ideas. Feel free to develop your own. Add any of your additional ideas or any questions to the comments below. See me if you will need supplies or photocopying. Remember, your idea must teach the class the concept and be entertaining. You don’t get to give boring multiple choice tests. That’s my job. That’s why I’m the teacher:) When you grow up, finish college, and get a credential, you can give bubble tests and write on giant Postit notes too. What fun awaits you! For example:
1. Mrs. Zana’s tone in this post is. . .

It was up for one minute and you already got the extra credit! I’m going to fix the time (it’s off because of daylight savings time) and the category. Have any ideas to add?

spoof?

A spoof is like a parody. You copy the show or the song or whatever, but you’re also making fun of it. So, if you did American Idol you could have the contestants taking bubble tests on stage and the judges giving them the testing advice instead of criticizing their singing. Some of the contestants could be awful test takers, just like some of the singers are bad.
Or, you could spoof a commercial. Take a commercial that’s really silly to begin with and make it ridiculous. Use the grammar forms your group is highlighting (this would work well for the perfect tenses group).
