hey room 35 i am so happy [but at the same time bcuz i moved]that i’m starting something new.There is a school right down my street and it’s a middle school so I get to go there.My aunt’s friend went that school and said that there are dnaces [for every grade] and a P.E. swimming pool that we get to go in.Even though i am happy,I still reallllllllly miss all of you!

Let’s be nice to each other and not jump at each little mistake. I thought both of you made very clever remarks, until you started being picky.
Actually, I enjoy planning lessons cause it feels creative. I like imagining how the lesson will work out. Recording grades is just paperwork. Even though it’s necessary to inform your parents of how you’re doing, there’s nothing interesting about typing in a bunch of letters. As far as when you’ll get them: they’ll be printed on Friday and you will get them to take home sometime after that.
Now, it’s back to work, and I’m not going to get distracted.

BTW, last night I was at a school related meeting from after school until 9:00. So, that’s why I wasn’t online. Hey, it happens! This weekend I won’t be on until Sunday night.
If you guys didn’t know what the math homework was or you didn’t understand it, Mr. K stays after school every Thursday for tutoring. Starting next week, I’ll be doing math tutoring in room 1 Monday and Wednesday after school. Maybe we should ask Mr. K to teach indefinite pronouns.

I think that all you chatterers need to either:
1. Decide on set times you want to be online and then all be there, rather than randomly asking, “Are you there?” Who’s there?” a million times daily. OR

Veronica: Don’t worry about the PSAT test. Of course it’s going to be impossibly hard for you. . . that’s the point. It’s supposed to be. It’s designed for 10th and 11th graders. So, why are we making you take it? ?? So that you’ll learn what to expect when it really counts. Cause research shows that kids who take it in middle school get better scores later. So you can see what you already know. Because they’ll give you a complete report showing exactly what you got right and wrong. So… just relax, get a good night’s sleep, eat a healthy breakfast and DON”T WORRY!!! As far as studying: I’d look over the packet they gave you just to get familiar with the kinds of questions you’re going to be asked. That’s about it. Then, once you get your score back, you can design a 4 year study plan for yourself that will include:
1. Pay attention in algebra and geometry and learn them well.
2. Learn a whole mess of English vocabulary and start reading books without pictures
In other words, there’s no way to study for this test in one night, and no need to.

I was busy marketing, cooking, and watching important t.v. (The Office). But, I’m thrilled that Angie is thrilled about Vt + Va = Ta (yes, I get your code!) Don’t spoil it for everyone. Go back and read the part where he’s hiding in the tree and see if you see a hint.
BTW, we got the new National Geographic today and there’s a really cool cover story about a skeleton they found right near where Lucy was found. It’s also 3.2 million years old and is an Australopithecus 3 year old child. The whole skeleton practically was preserved. I’ll bring it tomorrow to school.
