I like “oldies” like Joni Mitchell, Judy Collins, James Taylor, Carole King. They did folk/rock in the 70’s. Of course, I like the Beatles. I don’t care for most rap because the words are so violent or disrespectful to women. I also like Ladino music, which is music in a Jewish Spanish language.

This afternoon I saw your science hw in homework help after school AND it was a reasonable amount that you could easily do in about 1/2 hour. If it’s taking you longer than that tonight, we need to figure out why. Here’s some advice:
1. For the notes part, use the blue heading and the red section headings.
2. Define the voc. before you do any reading. Get that out of the way.
3. Next, read the pages. For your summary, try to simply answer the questions that the blue and red headings asked.
Is this helpful advice???

I think you guys need more h.w. you clearly have too much time on your hands. Go read for 1/2 an hour. Go study your voc. Study for your math assessment. I just finished grading EVERYTHING (except the BPC wiki and of course the Interactive Notebooks. Sigh) I put everyone’s name into Gomyaccess, so we can do the stories online tomorrow when you finish the rough drafts. I’m going to go read a fun book from our class library.

Scariest Book I’ve Read Lately: “Don’t Ever Let Me Go” A science fiction book where the main character is a clone bred for the express purpose of donating her organs until she eventually will die. . . It’s still creeping me out and I read it a few weeks ago. You keep hoping she’ll try to escape her fate, but she doesn’t make any attempt. It really bothered me. The author has such a depressing outlook on life.

Mrs.zana I tried to go ion it again,and I couldn’t get through.TELL ME WHAT I’M DOING WRONG:
fIRST i WENT into the internet “gomyaccess.com” it let me in,then I typed my user name and password,it worked.Then I pressed this information is correct,then when I clicked resume the screen was blue, waited waited… 15 min passed,so I clicked refresh.Then it said “sorry your time is expired “,something like that.Also it said to continue please press “log in”,so I did.So it went back to my homepage and tried to click resume,nothing happened,it just went back to the same page “resume”.
“MAYBE IT’S JUST MY INTERNET,I HAVE NETSCAPE ,I’M CHANGING IT THOUGH,I HOPE” :]

Suha and anyone else having trouble with gomyaccess from home: Before you login, look in the upper right corner of the website. It says “system requirements check” Click there. It will tell you if your computer, browser, and other software are good enough to run gomyaccess. If it says you “fail” any of the requirements, let me know which one and we’ll see if we can fix it. This may also explain some of the problems we’ve been having at school. Good luck to all, and I will clearly have to make accommodations for those of you who want to do the work and can’t.
