Period 3
Mohenjodaro was built in nearby the Indus River Valley. Archeologists went to discover what happened to the citizens and city of Mohenjodaro. They discovered that every one went somewhere else because the water path changed and they wanted a good water cycle. They say it was in 1900 B.C.E. All that’s left are buildings and tools.
Some tools they found were weights and scales next to a granary store where there was grain, barley ,and wheat. They thought they used the grain for money. They also used the weights and scales. One other thing they used grain for paying taxes. You will mostly see the weights and scales at the stores they had in Mohenjodaro because they would use them for many things.
In the lower city archeologists found statues and they think that how the statues were dressed that how back then they dressed. One of the statues they found were dressed formal and they had their there hair tied. The men on the statues they had long beards. They think they were either priest or kings. They also thought that they would make sure of dressing fancy to explain that they’re rich. The statues would have clothes with lots of detail.
They also found beads. Which they think only girls wore them for necklace, bracelets and more stuff. They would poke a hole in the certain of the clay theyt would use then they would put it in the kalin, which is a oven.
Seals were one the good things the citizens of mhenjodaro did. They carved the seals out of pictographs and pictures. People think they were used to keep the bad away. Or to tell people that your things belong to you. The seals had different designs like lions, zebras, tigers and other types of animals. The animal that was mostly used was a buffalos. It would amaze you of how they put so much detail.. There crocodiles had a lot of detail specially on the tail.
They mostly played games. The game they played the most was chess but not with kings and queens. But with dices which they through all around were they play. They also played with mazes. The little kids had there on games to because they couldnt play with the adults. There games were probaly throwing stones into the mazes. The people loved playing games the archeologists think that they propaly spend most of thier time playing games.
Clay models were made out of terra cota. The models would be of persohn which was probaly a farmer. A farmer which was carrying a cart of fruit or other type of food. The farmers would go to the lower city to get thier food. You would usually find the farmers carrying grain, wheat, and other things. It would probaly take long to make that from my point.

answer #6
Ryhming is used in the same line in the lyrics it gives the tone a more beat and flow to it, that helps poems. There pretty much is no repitition used, but once a subject is said in the song then she starts telling her story in a good flowing order.

answer #5
The lyrics are in a good order but there are a lot of hyperboles in the song. The lines are quite long and the story goes where it needs to be. It effects the tone because it helps the person listening to the song visualize her story.

answer #4
The line ," Screaming, deceiving, and bleeding for you
And you still won’t hear me" is a hyperbole because this line is another way of sayining that no matter how much pain she expresses he won't listen. The singer uses them to say how no one will listen to her. This can also be a sensory image that shows all the pain one can be in.

answer #3
The words in the song tell a sad story of how her heart is like sinking, or breaking, or "going under". The words are good and they add to the way she feels. The way she also says the lyrics tells us that she is hurt. The words that were chosen for this song were exellent.

answer#2
The song is about how the singer's heart has been broken and betrayed. The singer expresses her emotions and tells us how much she has saccrificed for the one she loves. A complex part in the story is the line," Blurring and stirring the truth and the lies
So I don’t know what’s real and what’s not
Always confusing the thoughts in my head
So I can’t trust myself anymore". We think that this means that she has been told way too many lies and that the truth just doesn't seem to exist anymore. She feels that she can't trust anyone anymore.

answer#1
The tone of the song sounds as if the singer is sad. The words discribe on how the character shows how she/he feels. She describes in the song how someone has broken her heart, she said that she has cried A LOT! She also feels broken appart and she also tells us in the song how low she feels. Therefore the song is about the way she feels, depressed.
