My plans for vacation are to celebrate Passover on Tues. and Wed. This means that Sunday and Monday I’ll be cleaning, marketing, and cooking. Thursday I want to do something fun with a friend of mine who’s also a teacher on spring break. If the weather’s nice, I’d love to have a picnic on the beach. Nothing is more relaxing than the crash of the waves, the smell of salt water, and warm sand on your toes. I’ll bring a junky magazine and sit under the umbrella with a soda. I can hradly wait! Then, I have to correct your reading journals and do 10 week grades

To the Fabster: I wasn’t ignoring you, I was busy and just got online. You can tell me the pages you read, the quotes and the responses on the blog or the wiki and I will count it as being on time, since you asked so nicely and said PLEASE so many times. And that’s not an April Fools.
To JocelynV: I’m glad you went with your Best Friend!
So, here’s what I’ve been doing instead of being online: Saturday I rested all day and walked to a friend’s house for a light dinner. Then, we went out to an engagement party. I taught the groom computers when he was your age, and he was not so well behaved… and I told the bride! So, watch out all of you! But, I did tell her he was polite and helpful whenever his family came over to visit.
Today I spent the ENTIRE day cleaning my kitchen for Passover. From morning until 10 at night. Now, I’m starting to cook. First: the most important part of the meal, dessert. I’m making a few, but tonight I made matza covered with buttercrunch, chocolate, and slivered almonds. It’s delicious. For dinner, we bbq’ed outside. Lamb chops, steak, hot dogs and beans. Yum.
Tomorrow is a full day of cooking, and then I’m going to a friend’s for the seder, the special meal for the first nights of Passover. Tuesday night I’m having 14 people for dinner. I like to cook, certainly more than I like to clean!

well anyways yesterday me and my cousin were baking a cake but my cousin and I forgot thet when u put the cake into the oven it rises so we filled the pan to the tip and put it in the oven . like ten min. later we went and checked on it and we found mostly all the cake on the over “floor” (u know the bottom part) so at the end we didn’t have any cake to eat lol.!!!!

hello evrybody body i just came back from san diego..it was awesome. We went to see my aunts new baby…she is so adorable and quiet i still haven’t heard her cry.I just love her smile:) …i feel srry for her though because she was born very small and she has to wear this helmet thingy to keep her head in shape:( …but not all the time, so anyway in san diego i went in their pool and jacoozi…i know thats not how you spell it…have you ever tried first going in the pool for a while then in the jacoozi it burns then when you go back in the pool it feels freezing cold again…been their done that.

also in San Diego i went to 3 different beaches and in one of them we found these cool shells with crabs in them! And my sister brought the biggest one she can find home…and it’s a big hermit crab. I’m waiting till she kills it, she could never take care of this thing, then i’m going to take it’s pretty shell but first take the icky crab out,yuck. Anyway enough about my vacation where have you plp been doesn’t seem like you’ve been anywhere cause you’re typing here in the computer almost everyday not to mention any names :jocelyn ,morriah, fabaster, not so much you fanny.

Han Dynasty Report on Government
The Han Dynasty was a very good era for China. The emperors made pretty good achievements. They also changed their way of government so the people could benefit, and be happy. I will also talk abut the Han Dynasty was first created. It is all very interesting.
The emperors all had good achievements. The greatest achievement was by Lui Bang. I say it is the greatest achievement because he started the Han. The emperor Han Wudi put them in its golden age. He made improvements in the government and agriculture. He also had a great increase in population. He increased it from 40 million to 60 million. A 20 million increase.

Terra Cotta Warriors
My research report is about the Terracotta army. The Terracotta army is a lot of soldiers made from Terracotta army (terracotta is a type of clay.) I my report I will describe every thing I learned about these soldiers. The discovery was made by three farmers building a well near the city of Xiyang in Shaanxi Province. The year was 1974. The discovery was at the Wei River. A few hours later a scientist from a near by city came to search the area. Year’s later scientist found more pits (pits are rooms or sections). Still today scientist are trying to find the main entrance to pit No.1 Why were these warriors made and by who were these soldiers built? These warriors were made because the first emperor of China called Qin pronounced (Chin) had feared is death and ordered that a whole army of life sized terracotta soldiers should be made. The warriors were also made to protect Qin after he died. Also to protect him from thieves. These warriors also had chariots and horses. The people who built these soldiers were farmers and workers around the city. These soldiers were made almost 2,ooo years ago around 246 B.C. The workers built more than 8,000 soldiers. No soldier is the same every soldier is unique in it’s own way. The workers got the images of the soldier’s faces from real models. Pit No.1 was where they first discovered these silent warriors. Pit number 1 is also the largest pit of all four pits. The soldiers are arranged in battle order and it is 14,260 square meters. There are about 6,000 soldiers in this pit. There are three rows and 68 troops. Some have weapons like arrows. Pit number two contains about 1,000 soldiers 500 horses and 89 chariots. It is 6,000 square meters and four L shaped sections. Here is an example of one of the sections: section 1, in this section the warriors have cross bows and some have heavy armor and also some are kneeling and others are standing. Pit 3 is called Headquarters because the soldiers used this pit for sacrifice. Scientist also found animal bones. It is 520 square meters. It had 68 warrior, 4 horses and 1 chariot. And finally pit 4, pit four was empty. The shapes and designs of the warriors face all matched just ten of the 10,156 characters of the Chinese alphabet. Each soldier had at least 1 of the ten faces. The characters were ; Rhy ,Jiah ,Your ,Shen ,Yuung, Jih ,Muh Fehng Tiarn,and gour. Rhy means the sun,Jiah means:Jiah is the first letter of the dominical alphabet. Your means for a reason, having to do with something. Shen is a letter in the dominical aphabet. Yuung is a drum stick, dry measure, tunnel or something hollow. Jih is a period of time. Muh means anger in the eyes, distress a wounded soldier. Fehng is ridicule, persuade, a good convincer. Tiarn means: it is a surm name,dry land

Mohenjodaro was built in nearby the Indus River Valley. Archeologists went to discover what happened to the citizens and city of Mohenjodaro. They discovered that every one went somewhere else because the water path changed and they wanted a good water cycle. They say it was in 1900 B.C.E. All that’s left are buildings and tools.
Some tools they found were weights and scales next to a granary store where there was grain, barley ,and wheat. They thought they used the grain for money. They also used the weights and scales. One other thing they used grain for paying taxes. You will mostly see the weights and scales at the stores they had in Mohenjodaro because they would use them for many things.
In the lower city archeologists found statues and they think that how the statues were dressed that how back then they dressed. One of the statues they found were dressed formal and they had their there hair tied. The men on the statues they had long beards. They think they were either priest or kings. They also thought that they would make sure of dressing fancy to explain that they’re rich. The statues would have clothes with lots of detail.
They also found beads. Which they think only girls wore them for necklace, bracketed more stuff. They would pike a hole in a hole in the certain of the clay then they would put it in the kalin, which is a oven.
Seals were one the good things the citizens of mhenjodaro did. They carved the seals out of pictographs and pictures. People think they were used to keep the bad away. Or to tell people that your things belong to you. The seals had different designs like lions, zebras, tigers and other types of animals. The animal that was mostly used was a buffalos.

MRS.Zana i just found out that the file you sent me ended up in my bulk folder not my inbox so all this time i had m REPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! gosh i still did it though right and IT DOES COUNT RIGHT!. you didn’t have to copy it down in the wiki but i still did well at least it worked… I’ll remember to check both folders next time.
