1. In our time we have more technology, education, and our classes are more fun.
2. We have to be taught more instead of fun stuff all the time because China speaks better english than us. Also we should be taught what our future career will be like you wouldn’t be working on computers if you’re just gonna drop out and go work in a McDonalds.

1. What changed is that we have technology for the classrooms.Students can use th internet during class to get the information they need for something in class.Also they have better recources.They can also get better jobs than working in a factory.

3.We agree with the video.There was a time when that was a good thing sitting in rows quitely is really good because you wouldn’t get distracted.

Juan: O.K, so maybe you need someone to explain quantum physics to you. But, what about in middle school? Is there a time when the whole class needs to sit and listen?
Chris and Gerardo: For question 2, how does the video think your generation needs to be educated if you’re going to become honor roll students? For question 3, does the video think that sitting in rows helps people not be distracted??? For what kind of job does the video show that type of education preparing kids?

Our world is different because we have more technolagy and the teacher does stand up in front of the class but most of the time we do activities on a computer. We have advance and have more technolagy to entertain us and alot of technolagy to learn and for our future. These are just some of the reasons why our world is diffrent from before.Our world helps us in many ways but we are also killing our enviroment by having air pollution. Also when we factorise technolagy such as ipods, cellphones and computers wich are made in factories, there is alot of smoke coming out of the factory.

we have different grades and education and we learn more about the world we live in.2. It needs to be different because there are people in magnet classes.

1. We have more technology so we are more disstracted from our work. We also dont like school much kids are in gangs and other stuff so thats why people are different from 50 years ago. School is also less boring from back then.

1. We have more electonics and technology for kids to use.One of the most important things that have changed is that we have more reasons to focus in school like the labtops.We also have more books for us to focus on school.
2. We can’t focus on school because of the electronics surrounding us in our homes and in our classes.
3. We mostly agree but it depends us beause we can focus more on the teacher.If we are learning something that we really need to know we can listen to the teacher more because we are sitting in rows with our eyes on her.
4.Sometimes the classroom is how the video shows but not always because sometimes we are destracted by other things .Many times kids bring toys or other none school items and many students get destracted.

There is many more jobs nowadays and we can have more brighter futers because of these jobs we can accually have more jobs so we need education to recieve these jobs.

1.We have better technology then the past. We’ve discovered more things with technology. We can take some technology places without worring hhow much it weights.
2.In the video, they show the class listening to the teacher and now with computers we can looking at different places without actually going there. We can also reserch stuff without looking in the encyclopedia.
3. I agree because if you lisen to the the teacher you can learn more and more about the subject the teacher is teaching. It does benefit because if teacher is trying to teach the students be looking at her.

4.I dont think theres ever a time were we just sit and listen to the teacher without somekind of distraction. The only time we are quietly sitting alone is when we take a test and then we aren’t listening to the teacher. So I think we are the class that it shows in the video.

1) We have more tecnology then the past. We sit together. We have more classes. We have adavnced in studies.
2) We need to have less students failing and more honor roll students.
3) We all agree with the video. Sometimes it would benefit us, but the other time we might need help with something and then we would have no one to ask.
4) It’s sometimes good to but sometimes not. It’s a good idea because then students wouldn’t be tempted to talk with others when the teacher is teaching. It’s a bad idea beause then sometimes when students need help with something, they don’t have anyone near them to ask.
5) We don’t agree with Dermont, Rafael, and Daniel because it sounds like they don’t really think about their answers, they just type them down. We also agree with Sergio, armando, and Rafael because more and more students are getting into gangs and listening to electronics during class.

1.) Well, we have technology (Laptops, iPods, Internet, etc.), a better education(Scholarships, More Advanced Universities), and a better oportunity (Careers, Environment)now.
2.) Well, in the video it tells us that we have to more concentrated and prepared for what the future has for us.
3.) I think that the education we have today is better because it prepares us and helps us find our potential, so that when time comes for us to pick a career, we will be ready. Our education will prepare us. Also, the sitting arrangement they had wasn’t as modern as today.
4.)It depends on the situation. For example, if the class is not behaved, then sometimes it may be neccassary, so that the classroom concentrates more. But then again, it is good because they have a better work environment and in a group you make people feel better.

1. Because we have more things in our classroom then they did in the video. Also our seating arrangement has changed
a lot because we no longer sit at single desks. And we sit at tableswith groups of people.
2. I think our education needs to be different because we use too much technology and electronics in our classrooms.

1.)Our world today is different, because we have more technology,our classes are taught differently, and we have different expectations.
2.)Our education needs to be different, because today kids have more careers to pick from and need to learn lot of things so they have a variety of careers to pick from. Before they taught things for a little bit of careers.
3.)In some ways it can and in some ways it can’t. It teaches you to work and not fool around, but it doesn’t let you work easily with others for help or for you to help someone else.

1)The way our world is different from the world 50 years ago is that the world 5o years ago didnt have the technology that we do today.As pre-teens in this generation we are more open to the following:

1.)It’s different because now we have more technology and it’s easier for us to do things. Back then they had to do more things manually they didn’t have as much technology. The top 3 most important ways I think it’s different is, one they didn’t have as much technolgy, two since they didn’t have technolgy that would mean they wouldn’t have much knowledge as we do because the technology we have, like computers, gives us more information. Last, we save more time because our technolgy makes us go faster than it is to go manually.
2.) According to the video I think how our education needs to be different is we need to not just think about how the world is today we need to think more about how it has become this way. Also that we have to think about our future, we’re the new past so what are we preparing for? The future we’re going to probably have new skills and more advanced technology.
3.)I disagree and agree, their are some benifits that come from our time and in their time also. They probably had more active minds than us they use it more. They have less fun though probably, or probably they don’t know that they have fun in a more active way. We may have all the i-pods, PSP’s, and other stuff, but that’s not the only stuff that we have. Some benifits are though however because of the technolgy we have better communication, more entertainment, and improved skills.
4.)It’s sometimes because we don’t always need to deal with technology in a classroom sometimes it’s more fun to do things manually, like painting.Example: I tried painting in the computer but it didn’t seem as much fun as doing it by hand, I couldn’t feel the paint or the brush all I felt was my hand moving with the mouse.
5.)Some of them I disagree with because some of them are like just their to get it over with, and some are not too thourghly explained. Other than those some of them were written pretty well they have their opinions and most of them in number one talked about the technology the was very agreeable.

1.Our world today has canged increasingly during the past 50 years.We have new transportations these days like we have Ferrari, Mercedes, and we also have Corvettes.We also have new technology and portable devices like iPods, PSP, and DVD Players.We have also changed our education Lke we have laptops to learn and look up webs and we also have new text books to learn from.
2.Our education has changed exponentaily.We have new electronic devices for us to learn from and we have learned new different things so we could teach.
3.Yes we also agree with the video because we also think that our world has changed a lot.Just sitting down in rows doesn’t benefit you because that is not preparing you for jobs like at McDonalds and not for the real exciting carrers out there.
