What do you need to know and do to succeed at MMS? Mrs. Zana asked her sixth grade students at the end of the year. Read their comments to see what advice they had for the incoming fifth graders. One thing you need to know to succeed in MMS is how to get to classes on time during the passing periods. Passing periods allow you five minutes to either go to your locker or get to class early. This will help you succeed in MMS because if you aren’t on time, three times, then you will get a U in cooperation on your report card. This is one thing we learned and one thing you should learn to succeed in MMS.

You shouldn’t chew gum at school. If someone who works at the school sees you chewing gum they will make you spit it on the ground. Then they will tell you to eat it or put it in the trash and pick up paper. Or they will give you detention, scrape gum off the floor or tables.

You have to have a good attitude to succeed middle school because if you have a bad attutude you may get introuble with your teachers or people at school. Also if you have a bad attitude you won’t do your work in class and you will not succeed in your class but, if you have a good attitude you will do your work and succeed in life.

There are alot if things you need to do to succeed at Mulholland Middle School but I am going to be talking about how you deal with personal problems. If you have a really big problem with a friend or someone else it could bother you during class. If it is bothering you during class you should talk about it with that person. If that does not work you should try to focus on something else like your work because if you do n ot focus you will mot do so good and lower your grade.

To suceed at mulholland you should use your locker. You should use your locker because your going to carry big text books. You should never jam your locker because you can’t get your stuff. Your not alowed to bring your backpacks to p.e. so you need to put your backpack in your locker.

Homework
One thing you need to know to succeed is to do your homework. Even if you don’t want to do it, do it anyway, it counts as your grade, and you should want o get good grades in school. Your homework also lets the teacher know what you know and what you don’t know so the teacher can help you if they need to. One last thing. If you do it you won’t get in trouble with the teacher, you don’t want trouble.

1. Book for class
2. Reading book
3. Pen pencils
4. NO PENCIL BOXES
5. Agenda just-in-case
6. Folder
7. Paper
8. Bring neccesary asignments
9. Water if you need it but no juice
10. Backpack

To succeed in Mulholland you need to cooperate and especially in homework. If you get a little homework and fail 1 assignment, you will go down a letter grade. If you get a ton of homework every day do it, and then you’ll get used it.

I am going to talk about Getting good grades. One thing you have to know to suceed at mulholland is getting goog grades. This will help you to see if you pass to the next grade. To get good grades you have to turn in homework, classwork, do what you are told and pay attention.

I believe that in order to be grat at MMS, you have to keep your cool, don’t do things you might regret, don’t be the best (sucking up wise), and don’t believe everything you hear. That’s all.

What Do You Need To Know and Do To Succeed at Mulholland
Being Organized By Elsy and Stephanie
Realy all you need to do is to be organized.If your organized with your homework you will bring it in and since your homework is most of your grade it benifits you and your grade. It is also good to be organized with your lockers so than they don’t get jamed. This even applies with your house if your are clean with your house things won’t get lost that easliy.
Being organized also includes having all your supplies in every class, and if you don’t have the supplies you won’t do your work and will get a zero on the assignment for the day.

Trust me. DO ALL YOUR HOMEWORK!!!! If you do not you will get in trouble because homework counts as a big part of your grade. I did not do it once and i went fom a C to a B. So, do all your work. Thank You.

Well my topic is don’t be lazy
I think that if you are lazy you won’t succeed in anything you do you won’t get good grades either. You start off very good then you think you already have a good grade and why should you do the work. Then you start getting lazy and your grades drop. Trust me that has happened to me at least 3 times. Laziness just brings bad gades.

1. In order to succeed at MMS, you need to learn how to go to your locker and not be late to your next class. One way you can do that is by putting ONLY the stuff you NEED for that classes and not the stuff you don’t need. For example, if your 1st period is Mrs.Hall and your 3rd period is also in the music hall, but your 2nd period is P.E, then you can put your backpack in your 3rd period class. You can also only bring your music book and your binder to class.
2. Another thing you need to know is how to deal with problems. If you’re not getting along with anybody in class, then tell the teacher or another responsible adult. Don’t just take care of the problem in a violent way. If you do, then you will get in trouble either way. If you do it in school, then you’ll get suspended or expelled. If you do it outside of school, then you’ll go to jail.

One of the most important things to do at MMS is to get to class on time. This is important because if you are tardy 3 times you will get a U. Also you get to go to your locker during passing periods. If you’re late to class you might miss out on information. Such as homework. Passing periods are important because you have to get things from your locker. This is why you need to get to class

To succeed at Mulholland you ned to be coopertive and have a good attutude. The reason why cooperation is so important because to learn you need to be able to listen because when you dont you don’t learn and you get in trouble with Mr. Metzger then you learn the hard way that cooperation is one of the many keys to succeess At Mulholland a good attutude is a very important trait to have. With a good attutude everything seems to flow easier. I’m new to Mulholland and when I came to this school my good attutude is what helped me make my friends. And that’s why good attutude and cooperation are so big at Mulholland

To succeed at Mulholland you need not do things in the last minute.The thing is that Mrs.zana gave us a reading log and its due at the end of the month.The thing is that you had to read and do a quote about the book you are reading. What I did is that I think I have a whole month to do the quotes but you don’t have a lot of time.The truth is that I would do the qoutes in last minute and end up missing quotes and I would not a good grade on it.So don’t do things in the last minute it will not do good for you.

To succeed at Mulholland is having good attitude. It helps with teachers and other students. Yoou can make new friends but you can believe in yourself. Like a test or bringing up your grade. Though you should have fun but not a lot you loose control. Thats helped me and I have succeeded at Mulholland middle school. ALWAYS HAVE GOOD ATITUDE!!!!!!

To suceed at Mullholland you must be organized. If you are not organized you will do bad in school. If you’re not organized you will loose important papers and you’ll have to do the work over again. It has happened to me before. The most important thing about being organized is having an attitude. Without an attitude how could you even be organized?

In MMS you should always wear the right uniform so you don’t get in trouble.In this school it is very important to wear your uniform. We use our uniform so the Birmingham kids won’t come in to this school for our safety.The birmingham kids also could like try to tag around the school and if they get caught they can see if they are from MMS or Birmingham so they are really careful with that. So that’s why we wear uniform.

To succeed at Mulholland you need to have good attitude.You need to be prepared for class everyday and have yor supplies (binder,penicils,notebook paper,agenda,pens ect.)You also have to wear your uniform properly.Always do your homework and don’t turn it in late!Because you can get in trouble with the teacher and your grade may drop. Also don’t be late to class!When you use your locker don’t put aot of things inside because the locker can jamed.DON’T SHARE LOCKERS!.If you get caught sharing lockers you can get in trouble and get your locker privelage taken away!

A big deal at Mulholland is the lockers. Always keep your lockers organized so you won’t lose your things and so that it will make it easier to take out your things. Clean out your locker once a week. Don’t keep things that are not needed.

You need to study,listen, and learn those are mostly it. You don’t need to be afraid of middle school espacilly this this 2 years I beeen here I have expeinced that middle school is fun and it is also fun. So if someone says middle school is scary it is not middle school should be scared of you not you scared of middle school so go and learn
