Hi to Timmy the Dinosaur, his buddy Reyna, Tatyana and Daniel.
Daniel: Are you planning on doing Reading Log #10 or 10 Reading Logs? As far as the song lyrics go, I will probably do something with song lyrics when we get to poetry, but after looking at the comments from the last two years, it seems that people need some assistance understanding the deeper meanings of the songs and that I need to modify the activity. If you have any suggestions for songs that are 1. Appropriate and 2. Have a deep meaning, I’m interested in suggestions. I don’t want anything that glorifies criminal behavior or is disrespectful to women. I also don’t want any mindless love songs. Remember, I’m interested in the WORDS, not the beat or the melody.
Today I went to see “Enchanted” at the El Capitan with my niece and nephew. It was a fun movie and I recommend it. Last night I saw “The Kite Runner” which was very powerful, but not for little kids. It’s the story of two boys growing up in Afghanistan, but it’s not a kid’s movie at all.
