A group of students created this last year.Mr Roboto
Remember this weekend to go to bed early, so you can wake up energized and refreshed on Monday morning. Eat a good, healthy breakfast, or join us before school for healthy snacks. I’ll be bringing milk for the cereal and Chinese peas. Show up on time. No tardies!!! And, when it’s all over, I’ve got some great, fun activities planned for the rest of the year.
Any questions??
So, there I was innocently spying (lurking) on Mr. Kashman’s blog. I was excited to see 66 comments on his new science project. But, imagine my HORROR when I spotted a mistake in the present perfect tense! And this after Mr. Roboto and the Freaky Tense iMovie worked so hard to teach all of you. Moreover, there is a FAN BOY without a comma separating two independent clauses. I’m shocked and discouraged. Nevertheless, I know that this would never happen on the English teacher’s blog. So, correct those two mistakes below for extra credit.
“That tag line does not live up to its reputation for I have seen that brats yes brats aka my sisters have dranken Juicy Juice.”
This is a random list of ideas. Feel free to develop your own. Add any of your additional ideas or any questions to the comments below. See me if you will need supplies or photocopying. Remember, your idea must teach the class the concept and be entertaining. You don’t get to give boring multiple choice tests. That’s my job. That’s why I’m the teacher:) When you grow up, finish college, and get a credential, you can give bubble tests and write on giant Postit notes too. What fun awaits you! For example:
1. Mrs. Zana’s tone in this post is. . .
a. threatening
b. sad
c. humorous
d. complicated
Extra credit to the first person who answers correctly.
And now for the ideas. . .

14. Left over words
It’s an all new CST and you’re going to write the questions! Using this week’s vocabulary words, or any of the words listed on the CST vocabulary page, your job is to write silly questions. Your questions must use the vocabulary correctly and have only one correct answer. They need to be multiple choice, with four possible answer choices. Here’s a sample:
1. Read the passage below and answer the question that follows.
Mr. Kashman needs to choose something for his lunch. The pizza looks cold and greasy. The apples are bruised and shrivled. The salad has a dirty napkin in between its leaves. The warm coffee cake smells of sugar and cinnamon.
What is the best food for Mr. Kashman to choose?
a. the pizza
b. the apple
c. the salad
d. the cake
I used two vocabulary words in the sample above. Do you see them?
You may work with a group of up to four members or by yourself. You need to use all of this week’s vocabulary (so you may want to divide up the task). You can use more than one vocabulary word per question (I actually recommend it). I suggest you type your answers in word and then paste them into one big comment.
